My killer punch on this album is I've Got No Room For Your Love which is kind of heavy but light.doh!!! All the tracks are great and there is some superb guitar which although restrained is very damn effective (please tack note all you widdly guitarists!!!). Hanging on a Heart Attack was the single and it was accompanied by a pretty cool video on it's release. Very hi tech and has an almost dancy feel in places.
If you like the hi tec y these it anything.one voice.last two are both female fronted.while spoons are more in thedevice mould.with both f/m on them. This is an excellent disc, every single song is great.paul engemann sing on a animotion record also so if you like this one, check them out!
Its a perfect soundtrack for any 80s movie. With its subtle sexuality, it still works for me. My personal favorite is the dynamic 'Didn't I Read You Right', which draws it's influences from some of their mid-eighties pop/rock contemporaries. Even on 'When Love Is Good', the choruses are soaring and guitars are absolutely swinging. The hi-tech pop attack was relentless on tracks such as 'Who Says' and 'Tough And Tender'. Fans of that kind of music from mid 80's era won't be dissapointed. Yep, it's some kind of new wave poppy, aor, hi-tech and synthed. I suppose you like this album if you like typically Scandinavian stuff This CD is very good! "Light AOR" might be right. Holly is very underrated artist who wrote, sang and even did keyboard programming. I'd say Holly Knight's solo CD, which I highly recommend is 'Lite AOR' Device's 22B3 is more electro new-wave 80's dance with some slower ballady type song to boot. This record is a true raritie! It was re-released in the nineties through Renaissance records,The first oportunitie that I had to listen to this material I was dazzled how could lite AOR could match so well techno-pop,and the New Romantics-style like Human League,Duran Duran and Berlin p.Extremely 80`s.Extremely recomended.Extremely rare!Remarcable keybords, eletronic drums, awsome production.Should have been an classic!Pat Benatar, meets Human League, meets 80`s New Wave Style!!!!! was a potential single. In a fair world ,this would have been huge.Įste disco es Techno-Pop-AOR 80.Compone los temas Holly Knight, aunque canta un tio. Prolific songwriter Holly Knight (Heart,Kiss,Pat Benatar etc.)spearheaded this masterpiece. This style of music is not for everyone. It reflects alot of transitional trends in mid 80's electronic/mod pop rock.If you're into Animotion,Industry,Smash Palace,Eight Seconds ,The Fixx or A Flock Of Seagulls.then this is right up your alley.Every song on this c.d. Great middle 80's electronic-rock sound and megaproduction Long as they are at least 4 songs in length.
